ABOUT OUR CLUB
We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.
With freedom comes responsibility, and I can think of no responsibility greater than putting on a U.S. military uniform and standing in the gap between an enemy threat and civilian life.

The U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club, West Virginia Chapter 2 was established in 2006 in the Eastern Panhandle area.
The club as a national organization strives to achieve the following:
1.) To provide a club for qualified military veterans which offers brotherhood and an opportunity to establish relationships with other military veterans who have served in the defense of the United States of America.
2.) To establish and support a strong sense of pride in having served in the active military service of the United States of America.
3.) To improve the image of military veterans and bikers to the general public.
Minimum Requirements For Membership
A. Have a valid DD Form 214 and have served 181 days or more in an active duty status. (Reserve and National Guard members can count active duty for training and "summer camps" ). Have full rights to veterans benefits and have received an Honorable Discharge from the United States military or be currently on active duty for a period greater than 181 days, or currently in the National Guard or Reserves.
B. Have a valid Motorcycle Operators' License
C. Pay monthly dues.
D. Actively participate in club meetings and activities.
E. Have a 750 cc motorcycle or larger.
Membership Process
The process of becoming a member has two phases "Prospect" and "Probate".
Prospect.
During the Prospect phase and individual will go on runs and attend meetings with the club as a guest. This gives the prospect a chance
to evaluate his desire to belong to this brotherhood and the club members to evaluate his basic personality and compatibility. If
a Prospect expresses a desire to become a member of the USMVMC, and they are sponsored by a Full Patch Member, their request will
be discussed and brought to a vote amongst the members. If there is a consensus amongst the Full Patch Members, then the "Prospect"
becomes a Probationary Member (Probate) and receives the club "Rocker".
Probate.
The Probate phase is longer and gives the probate the opportunity to learn the proper conduct of a member in an MC. The Probate will
fulfill any club related duties as needed by the President and other club officers. During the probate period, all Full Patch Members
have the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the Probate as an individual they would be proud to address, and depend upon, as a Brother.
The Probate is assigned to a Full Patch Member (Sponsor), and is under the direct supervision of an experienced Full Patch Member
whenever they wear the club "Rocker".
If the Probate successfully completes their probate period, the Probate then receives their Patch (USMVMC Eagle Center Patch). At this time, the Probate is elevated to Full Patch Member status, and is welcomed as a Brother into the USMVMC.
Full Patch Member. Once achieving full patch status, the individual will become a Brother in the U.S. Military Vets MC... a continuation
of the brotherhood we all experienced when we wore the uniform.
